Growing up in North Andover, Massachusetts, my parents instilled a love for the outdoors and traveling in me at a young age. We hiked, skied, and camped around the Northeast, home of 'wicked awesome'. One of my favorite places we went to is Acadia National Park in Maine.

While attending the University of Vermont for Environmental Science, I fell in love with the relaxed and down to earth vibe of the state. I also had the opportunity to study abroad in New Zealand which opened my eyes to the ways each country handles their own environmental issues. It's an incredible landscape that I hope to visit again in the future. (This photo was taken on a backpacking trip there).

When I'm not working, I enjoy baking, writing short stories, and yoga. I love being out on the water, whether I'm paddling or fly fishing. If I ever fall behind on a hike, I'm probably examining a tree and learning more about it since I find them intriguing!
